Our Process
Discovery
We begin by learning all we can about our client and its challenges and opportunities. We’re pros at asking the right questions to understand specific goals and helping the client identify the tactics and strategies that make the most sense for the given mission. We then share our findings and reach consensus with the client before work begins.
Generating Ideas
Once we’ve established our client’s goals, resources and expectations, we develop visual concepts to achieve the desired results. Typically, we present one or more design comprehensives (or comps) to illustrate our proposed solutions. Based on feedback, we refine our concept for initial signoff, and use it to guide the rest of the design.
Design
In this phase, we carefully apply the chosen concept to the specifications of the communication medium and project scope. We employ tools of old-school commercial art such as typography, form and color, but we’re also experts at using all the latest technology to expedite the process of design and maximize creativity and craft.
Production
The technical aspects of each project are just as important to us as the creative elements. In fact, it’s during this stage that all of the creative and strategy work we’ve done comes together. We’re skilled at realizing our vision, whether it’s making sure the printer has all the necessary files or, for websites, designing and coding on our own server.
Implementation
In this phase, we perform a final quality check, using processes that differ depending on the medium. For print projects, we do press checks or review proofs; for web and email projects, we conduct rigorous testing to check for compatibility on a variety of the most popular browsers and operating platforms.
Maintenance (web only)
We offer a variety of maintenance services for websites we’ve created. One of our more popular packages includes creating and launching a client’s new site, and handling content updates and providing troubleshooting support for up to one year. Or, we can design a content management system that allows the client to update content themselves.
